The Villainess Is Dispossessed

You are a member of the retinue of the Famous Princess.
Despite being the queen's firstborn, she has been disinherited by the royal family and banished to the wild.
In the royal family's defense, she did sort of deserve this---but that was before The Change happened.
During one of her last days in the court, a falling branch, pruned too early by one of the royal gardeners, struck the Famous Princess in the head…and her whole personality changed.
You had to re-explain some basic concepts to her---like the geography of the nation, the science of magic, who you were, and who she was---but she stopped berating serfs and scheming against the secondborn and miraculously became kind of pleasant.
Of course, the banishment was still scheduled. You tried to intercede at this point, but the royal family had already announced their decision, and it would have looked like favoritism to walk it back.
Condemned along with her, you followed the Famous Princess into exile…although a glimmer of hope remained.
In private, the royal courier told you that if the Famous Princess could prove her character by marrying well, she would be allowed back into the court.

I think this is probably because TTRPG is not a very popular - or even recognized by most people - game, either in Taiwan or China.
Apart from the small number of players, it is true that Chinese language players are more likely to translate foreign games to play them, and they are rarely published commercially because the market is so small. In fact, most Chinese language users playing DND, COC, PF and other famous and popular systems use "resources" translated by fellow Internet users (in other words, pirated copies or Pirates), they post translations on a number of forums out of interest and for free ).
There are, of course, players who are willing to create their own works, but they are usually published in other online communities (in Chinese, obviously not in English forums) or sold at "fan fairs".
(i try reply, but can't. I dont know why)
If you are looking for users in Taiwan or Hong Kong, some Discord communities may be good, and plurk can also be found.
China's gamers will discuss it on their own "貼吧" or "bilibili".
And if you're looking for forums, the largest TRPG forum in Chinese is called "純美蘋果園".
Sorry the replies got kinda messed up, and thank you for the information!
It's me again
My friends run a website called "Free Open Source TRPG Chinese Translation Group" and one of the members noticed this system and its CC Open Source logo and would like to translate it and put it on the website, is this acceptable?
Absolutely!
If you need the Affinity Publisher file, or the raw text, or any of the artwork or anything, just let me know.
I'm also happy to put a link from here to the translation.

I remember the Truck and This Book Will Burn
Can these be put together on the website?
Sure!
I'll put a link to the translation on the page here. And if you want to host the translations on itchio, that's totally okay too!
Does the "Free Open Source TRPG Chinese Translation Group" translate TRPGs into Chinese, or translate Chinese TRPGs into other languages, or both?
I think primarily English to Chinese, but I'm not 100% sure.
The best bet is likely to ask TW_Coffee_Ghost, but they do have an about page on their website here, which comes out really clearly in google translate: https://hazmole.github.io/Free-Open-TRPG-Translation/about/
From that page, it sounds like their priority is open source/creative commons games, translated from English to Chinese.
Also I don't know anything about the Chinese ttrpg scene, but if there's any ttrpgs that have been translated from Chinese to English I'd love to check them out.
Same here! I've been searching for TTRPGs made by Chinese creators for a while!
I don't think most Chinese players would be very interested in turning their work into English, mainly because of the difficulties, but also because there are already enough games in English that it wouldn't be very effective to do so.
Fair! I can see how it would be hard for a translated Chinese TRPG to break into the already saturated English TTRPG market.
That said, are there any Chinese-language Open Source TRPGs you'd recommend, coffee_ghost_TW? I've done some Chinese-to-English translation work in the past...
I managed to press reply now, but I don't know why it didn't work
