"It is tonally influenced by Bleach, although I haven't actually seen much Bleach and so it's probably more accurate to say it's influenced by what I think Bleach might be."

You are the Kate Bush of ttrpg! (she hadn't read a letter of Wuthering Heights when she wrote the eponymous song, she'd only seen bits of a BBC TV adaptation.)

I will absolutely accept being the Kate Bush of TTRPGs!

(although I think this means I also need to write a frequently misinterpreted banger)

I am assuming you're already wearing leotards and move around through the medium of interpretive dance.

Not until now, but life's about to get much more interesting for the people who have to live with me.

Hi! Tracing the myth back before Bleach. It sounds like a renewal of a traditional view. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YuYu_Hakusho Forgive my nerding out (or simply delete this comment)

It's all good!

The concept of a divine bureaucracy shows up in a variety of modern sources, including Bleach, YuYu Hakusho, DBZ, and also in religion and mythology.

Likewise with the concept of attendant gods who keep reincarnation running smoothly.

I don't have a strong background in any of this, but I'm happy if it made the setting interesting!

Thank you.It seems Bleach is a hot topic. ;) That mustn’t deviate our attention away from the game. Episodic adventures are easy to picture and create, Monster of the week style. The meat of the game seems to be in local soul <-> hp conversions presented as tactical choices. This one seems less narrative and more JRPG (/videogame) than most of your previous games. Strength to you!

Thank you!
