The sky is the color of a television tuned to a dead channel, but that's nothing new when you're colorblind.

With eyes that glow and track motion, pads that dampen fallshock, claws that extend and flex, this has been your genre long before it was theirs.

The humans built their cities and grew their factories and scarred the atmosphere with their smog, but all the while you've been in their shadow.

In ages past, you hunted the four-legged grainkillers that would have impoverished them, and for this you were welcomed into their homes. But now those homes are meager. Their food mere scraps. And the streets call once again.

You roam the city in a divine state of trespass. Not a sign written can keep you out.

The humans think that Cy is hell. They think that Cy is paradise. They are wrong on both counts.

Cy is yours.

You stand on padded feet before a world that's ending and wash a paw with disdain.
