The defendant slouched behind the stand, all twelve feet of him, covered in hair. His molars itched, the way they always did in the presence of silver---silver that ran all the way through the pair of manacles binding his wrists.

The prosecution was droning on, a relentless series of facts. The defendant had been established to be in the victim's neighborhood. It had been a full moon that night. The defendant had a history of violence. The victim was found torn to shreds.

He was innocent, but the court wouldn't see that. He…

His eyes were drawn to his attorney, a tiny, winged creature that had offered to represent him for free.

It was standing straight up, eyes shining, clutching a speaking horn twice its size.

"Your honor, if I may," its helium voice squeaked out. "I would like to introduce a piece of evidence. You see, my client had recently become a vegan…"

Hobjection is a 44 page ttrpg about practicing fae law.

Investigate cases, bring them to trial, contend with judge and jury, and see justice done.

Although the tone is whimsical and dice are involved, Hobjection is of the opinion that a legal rpg should revolve around making interesting arguments. To that end, it gives the group some basic terms and explains the spirit of the law, then encourages the JM (Jurisprudence Master) to rule as they see fit.

A lawyer was involved (though in an informal capacity) with the playtesting and development of the game.
