If you apply an NFT (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-fungible_token) to someone else's artwork without their permission, this game puts a curse on you.
It's probably not a very big curse, and you probably don't have anything to worry about.
If you wish, you can lift the curse by making restitution to the artist and paying them however much they ask.

Every week there's someone in my feed whose art has been stuck onto an NFT without their permission.
It's not really about caring.
If I can motivate one person to stop grabbing other folks art and using it for crypto, I'll count this a success.

Returning to this several months later I...still don't think I actually understand what NFTs are. And not for lack of trying! My brain refuses to hold the information!
